This bracelet is inspired by the beads worn in Captain Jack Sparrow's hair in Pirates of the Caribbean and has taken an age to collect the most authentic pieces possible for it's creation.
The beads have, in the true pirate tradition, been gathered from all over the World and include Tibetan honey copal amber, carnelian, chrysoprase, black volcanic lava from the foothills of South Pacific Islands, red south-seas coral, jasper, buffalo horn and a jade Buddha head from a prayer mala.
The spotted red bead is a white heart, thousand-eye trade bead, it's a couple of hundred years old and shows signs of wear and grime from it's travel across the continents. A skull carved from Yak bone by monks, a coin dangle made by Banjara Gypsies from Indian currency,
a metal skull bead
and also a couple of brass beads.
The rest of the beads, toggle clasp and all components and are .925 sterling silver and .99 fine silver created by Karen Hill Tribe artisans. The bracelet has a sterling silver anchor and a bone skull dangling near the clasp.
This bracelet is slighty longer to fit a wider wrist. It measures approx. 8.6" including clasps.
